You can control up to 15 components even lights and appliances. Works well with older and newer components alike. Setup is easy. If you do get confused the help button will figure it out for you. No other remote offers this. After setting up with the desktop software you may want to move to its web based customization page. Its backlit LCD displays and controls make it easy to see in dark lit room. The only draw back is battery life; after all it can do the work of up to 15 remotes. You can use rechargeable batteries as a work around.
